NSW Regional Women Lawyers (NRWL) was established at the start of 2023 by a group of energetic regional women lawyers who are working to ensure that those practising in regional, rural and remote (RRR) NSW have access to a range of benefits and opportunities while recognising the particular needs and challenges of practising in RRR NSW. NRWL is keen to foster collaborative and collegial relations with its Sponsors and other organisations that support similar goals.
NRWL has representatives in the Central West, the Far West, the Illawarra, the Hunter, the Central Coast and Western Sydney, plus many of the RRR regions and has already attracted members, wide media exposure and support. Across existing contacts and affiliates, NRWL has a promotional reach to a significant number of contacts.
With planned Conference events for September 2023 in Port Macquarie and March 2024 in Armidale, NRWL has already hit the ground running following its successful inaugural Conference in Orange in March 2023.
